Hey everyone! 🎉
Quick update to let you all know that the pins have arrived to me and the grading process is almost done!
I will be locking addresses and payment methods for shipping/additional pins by Monday, July 28th, so if you need to make any adjustments, do so now through BackerKit!
For Canadian backers: I will be sending out your rewards once grading is completed.
For US backers: I will be reaching out to you all once again to confirm whether you wish for me to hold on to your rewards or ship them out. As of right now, tariffs have laxed considerably for enamel pins to the US. Currently they are at a 30% tariff rather than the 145% it's been sitting at. It is up to you whether you wish me to send the rewards out now or hold onto them for a while longer.
For everywhere else: Your rewards will be shipped out as soon as grading is done!

✨Manufacturing Finally Completed! Pins on the way to me!✨

Sorry for the delay in an update, but we had some delays in manufacturing due to some holidays for the manu and me being picky, ensuring the pins came out the way I intended. I have now gotten confirmation that they are completed and have been shipped to me! Finally!! 🎉🎉

Once the pins arrive to me (should be about 1-2 weeks), I'll update again as I'll begin the grading process.

✨Tariff Update, Surveys, Stretch Goal Poll Results✨

Hey everyone! ✨
So, bad news first. As most of you have heard, the de minimus rule for products made in China under $800USD going to the US is now gone, meaning there will be a 145% tariff on those products, which include my pins as my manu is based in China. Unfortunately, this is for my US backers as this primarily affects you guys. I have been weighing options and here's what I wish to ask my US backers: I could hold onto your packages once I receive the pins and pack them until the tariff situations ease, or I could send them out, however, backers would be hit with the 145% tariff upon import into the States.
I will message US backers individually to gauge what each of you would like to do. If you're okay to wait, I will have your rewards packaged and ready for when the tariff costs decrease. I am hopeful by the time the pins arrive, things will look better, but as of right now, that is uncertain.
Now onto the good news: surveys! I am sending out surveys as of tonight where you can choose which pins you would like from the collection. You may also have the option to include add-on options such as the stretch goals from this project as well as all of my previous cat designs as well! These options are not included in your pledge, so please keep that in mind, they are extras to be purchased!
As for results from the stretch goal poll, the Red Galaxy Cat and the Glorp (Alien) Cat were tied! As such, they both will be available as add-ons in the survey! 😺

✨2nd Stretch Goal Voting & Tariff Update✨

Hey everyone! ✨
I have finally got my funds from Kickstarter to begin production, but since the completion of the project, there has been an increase in pledges and as such I believe it is time to hold one more voting for a new stretch goal!
I have 3 options again, 2 will be ones seen previously and I have added a new design that I am rather excited to reveal! Here are your options:
1 - Glorp Cat
2 - Red Galaxy Cat
3 - Brown Scottish Fold

Now, for the less exciting tariff update.
As I am sure most of you are aware, tariffs will come into effect as of May 2nd, 2025, and where I ship from Canada and many of you are from the US, this severely impacts both myself as the small business and you guys as the backers. I am really hoping they will either get pushed back or not go forward, however, I must prepare for the worst case scenario. If tariffs do come into effect, I may have to either hold onto orders until the tariffs ease, or have to severely increase shipping fees to US backers, neither of which I want to do. I am remaining hopeful that tensions will ease, but like many small businesses in Canada, I am unsure what will play out come May 2nd. I will update again once the date arrives to discuss with you all what the plan will be and your options once we know more.
